Pimple-popping Perfection! (Try saying that five times fast)
I was plucking my eyebrows tonight, and I noticed that I had some zits that needed popping. I tried to do it with my forefingers, but my nails were too short to get the P.U.S.- Purely Uber-fascinating Stuff- out. I decided to be resourceful and gave the popping a try with my tweezers. The pus still wasn't coming out, but I started to get some nice redness in the areas I was "experimenting" on. Anyways, I tried popping them naturally again and, lo and behold, the pus came right out! It was as easy as taking berries from a Jackson. Anyways, the process was a beautiful thing- I guess tweezers coax the pus up so it can come onto your oily little fingers! Or maybe the DNA remnants from eyebrow hairs just magnetically attract pus. Isn't that cool? Now I just need to find a way to get rid of zits altogether...

Happily Frustrated...wait isn't that the thing where you have two words next to each other that have opposite meanings thatI can't remember the name f
Thank goodness it's Friday...school took forever today! I love love love pumpkin chocolate chip cookies! The football game is tonight- all will be good if my XL basketball shorts manage to stay up on me while I'm tumbling....grrreat.... Ok I wanna go to gymnastics and smell my coach! This blog thing seems like a public journal. I love love love cleaning Mrs. Jackson's room, too...I have no idea why though. Someone is being very confusing right now!! Ok I think I'm done...so what's a random ramble called? Ok, this was a randle. The end.

* Since Jackson is our only reader, I think it's appropriate to have a picture of her up!

Dianne's Vent for the Day:
Unbelievable! I have no idea why in the world some people have me as a friend on facebook and vice versa! If I wanted them as a friend I wouldn't be venting! Geez! Some people also suddenly have a facebook! Why can't they just stick with myspace! It's as if one site with them online isn't good enough! Ugh! It makes me mad!
Oh, I should be reading my Jane Eyre book but I think this is more fun! So anyways today in Jackson's class we, me, syd, and jess, cleaned her room! I actually enjoyed doing it, a lot better than seeing certain people around anyway.
Also in lunch today I bumped into one of my team members and said sorry as well as her name and the guy she's kind of with and kind of not whom I used to like looked at me in suprise as if I didn't know anyone of such "high stature" who happened to be standing very very near. Hello? I know people too! I hate all these stuck up wannabe boys! They're so annoying! If they think they're so mighty and tough they should try to make friends with all us "lowly people". Some of us are actually pretty cool! I don't care about them as much as before. I mean they are cute but if they won't even step off their podium to even look at me, why do they matter? And if anyone is looking for advice... look somewhere else, please. I want to be an Elementary Teacher/Dancer not a pyshciatrist!

The R*A*I*N*B*O*W*S of Which We Speak
Today, the world is a very colorful place. In fact, in my opinion, it's the most colorful thing there is. In this world, everyone has their own kind of rainbow. Your rainbow is the person you love, or the things you like to do. There can be as many colors as you like, and it's all up to you.
So the goal in life is to color the rainbows that we come across every day. The things that make life a little bit better. For example, reading your English teacher's blog and finding out that you're in it. "'Dianne Veras. With syd and jess!!!' Aren't they sweet?" (We love our teachers.) Or finding out you got an A on the math test you were SURE you were going to fail. The sweet feeling of success.
But then there are the kinds of rainbows that we don't always enjoy. The feeling of failure. Finding out I have a History test that I'm TOTALLY not ready for. The colors on these kinds of rainbows are the education we get. I learned to pay more attention while my teacher is announcing things. I learned to study for tests and challenges that I come across. I learn humility and I learn how to handle loss.
Most importantly, no matter what colors we want our rainbow to be, we should remember that the shades in our rainbow are totally up to us. If you want bright pink that shows your energy, then you have to have that energy. Don't expect someone else to come color it for you, and don't give anyone the power to color it for you, especially the wrong kind of people.
Anyway, color your rainbows the best way you can, with what life throws at you. The happier you are, the brighter your rainbow. Smile! and have a beautiful day, filled with colors!
